Arc only lets CCTP move 1 USDC per message, so withdrawing by hand means hundreds of transactions. We batch them into one and deliver the rest on Base, paying that gas. Deposits are paused — see below for why.

This is an independent tool built by people who needed to get their own money out. Arc mainnet has not officially launched.
Depositing is simple: Base lets a single CCTP message carry up to ten million USDC, so any amount is one burn. You sign an approval and the deposit, Circle signs the message, and we mint it on Arc and pay the Arc gas — which matters, because you cannot pay Arc gas until you have USDC on Arc.
Withdrawing is where it gets awkward. Arc's contracts cap a burn at 1 USDC per message, so taking $500 out is 500 separate messages. That is why nobody offers it. Arc's blocks are nearly empty though, so we pack a few hundred into one transaction, then deliver them on Base and pay that gas.
No. In both directions the burn goes from your wallet into Circle's own contracts, and the destination is fixed to your address at the moment you sign. We are only allowed to press "deliver" — and so is anyone else.
Delivery. Every message has to be submitted on Base and someone has to pay that gas — we do, out of the fee, however many messages your withdrawal turns into. The rate is read live from the contract, and the contract has an immutable ceiling of 5% that not even we can raise. Changing it would mean deploying a different contract at a different address, which you would see.
Because we cannot deliver them right now. Getting USDC into Arc needs Circle to sign the transfer for Arc as a destination, and it currently does not — every CCTP deposit to Arc sits unsigned, and Circle's Gateway API does not list Arc at all. Nothing has been minted on Arc for days. We would rather say so than take a deposit we cannot complete. Withdrawals are unaffected and work normally.
Your transfer waits, it does not fail — Circle's signatures never expire and any address may submit them. For a withdrawal you can finish it yourself on the rescue page, from any wallet, without us. A deposit is different: the mint happens on Arc and is paid for in Arc USDC, which you do not have yet, so that one waits for us. It is why we refuse deposits the moment we cannot deliver them rather than taking them and hoping.

The burn is seconds. Circle usually attests within a few minutes, then each mint is one Base transaction. A 40 USDC withdrawal typically finishes in under ten minutes.
Arc mainnet has not officially launched, and public access to it has been cut off before — once for a day and a half. A withdrawal already under way keeps going through that; a new deposit will be refused until we can deliver it again. Move what you are comfortable waiting on, and note that this site is not affiliated with Circle or Arc.
